Reclaiming TopShop Store Card PPI - Missing Info?

Hi All.


My wife had a Topshop store card from (approx) 2002-2006. She believes she was paying pointless PPI which she would now like to reclaim.


I can't find any record of the card on her credit file. Who can I write to for confirmation of the card's existence and details of the PPI paid on it?

If the account is closed there may be an issue of getting the data as companies only have to keep customer data for 6 years following the closure of an account however, some companies 'may' keep it for longer. There will be no data on her credit file after this length of time.


You could send a SAR to TopShop and hope they still have this data or you could SAR the credit file company. It is likely they will have more data but that still won't show if PPI was on the card.
