im in full time employment and also classed as a full time student - does this affect my tax?

Being a full time student has no bearing on how much tax you pay. Your tax free allowance is the same as it was before.

I agree. The only bearing that being a student might have on your tax is if you only work during your holidays, in which case you might be below the earnings threshold. That's not the case if you're working full time, unfortunately.

If you only work during the holidays, you can fill in a P38(s) form which means you won't get taxed. You won't be bale to fill this form in, if you plan to work during term time.
