I moved my bank account and decided to also cancel my CreditExpert credit-report subscription.

I sent them an email informing them that I was cancelling and they sent me an email saying

I *had* to call them and answer questions about why I'm cancelling and also give feedback about their service.

So far as I'm concerned the I sent email should suffice.

Can they put a default on my credit record for this ?

Thanks in advance.

they wave their arms about

but you sent the email so should be ok.

nothing to stop you phoning them though.

please don't hit Quote...just type we know what we said earlier..

DCA's view debtors as suckers, marks and mugs

NO DCA has ANY legal powers whatsoever on ANY debt no matter what it's Type

and they

are NOT and can NEVER  be BAILIFFS. even if a debt has been to court..

If everyone stopped blindly paying DCA's Tomorrow, their industry would collapse overnight...

They want you to call so they can offer you continued subscriptions as low as £4.99 per month.
