letter regards debt i dont know

i received a letter from LOWELL FINANCIAL today saying i owe £70 , they saying its regards orange, and i cannot recall this.

what do i do now, surely they will have a signature ?

lowlife have prob brought another bucket load of lemon debts

and are trying to spoof people.

 

they are a DCA with no real powers to do anything.

just checked my credit file , Lowell portfolio ltd ant another dodgy name been looking at my credid report, called Everything Every where limited , thought they have to have my consent to view my file ?

also back to the letter regards £70 nothing showing i owe orange anything, something isnt rite .

Orange is now EE (Everything Everywhere).

yer the only stuff on my credit file is a paid credit card to barclays nothing about £70 i owe .to ee .

If it's £70 by the time the DCA have chucked on some spurious charges of their own, the original debt (if there ever was one!) was probably for about a tenner!!

The ''permission'' to search credit files is contained in there service contract.

have i to ring them and ask for proof ie a signature or just tell them to go do one ?

No, all such contracts have a clause regarding sharing data on the conduct of accounts and reporting to credit reference agencies.
