Not the cheapest, but the Post Office policy is worth looking at. They use Ageas who are supposed to be one of the better companies to deal with, if you needed to claim. Avoid Axa, as they have a pretty bad reputation for handling claims.

 

If it is an independently arranged trip, you should look at other options to the above, who include an 'independent travellers' option. Some provide this at extra cost. e.g Sainsburys Travel Insurance, Essential Travel.co.uk. You need to read the policies to see if this is worth the extra premiums involved.
