there is no 'link' between DN and defaults on your CRA file.

your can have a default on your CRA file without a DN ever being issued.

tell us the story

DCA's view debtors as suckers, marks and mugs

NO DCA has ANY legal powers whatsoever on ANY debt no matter what it's Type

and they

are NOT and can NEVER  be BAILIFFS. even if a debt has been to court..

If everyone stopped blindly paying DCA's Tomorrow, their industry would collapse overnight...

missed payment late payment.

any 6 of those the cra files system marks it '8' or D

so no DN would have ever been issued

you usually get markers before a DN issue not as your post above.

scan the required letters/agreements/sheets - as a picture[jpg] file

don't forget you can use a mobile phone or a digital camera too!!

'

BUT......

ENSURE: remove all pers info inc. barcodes etc using paint program

but leave all figures and dates. {DO NOT USE A BIRO OR PEN]

convert existing PC files to PDF [office has an installable print to PDF option]

..

goto one of the many free online pdf converter websites [http://docupub.com/pdfconvert/]

it would be better to upload a multipage pdf if

you have many images too rather than many single pdfs

.

or if you have PDF as an installed printer drive use that

or use word and save as pdf

try and logically name your file so people know what it is.

i'e Default notice dd-mm-yyyy

.

open a new msg box here

hit go advanced below the msg box

hit manage attachments below that box

hit the add files button on the top right

hit select files, navigate to your file on your pc

hit upload files

in both of those examples

it appears no DN has been issued

one appears to [wrongly?] be showing 6 mths late for the duration of the DMP?

thus should have been marked by the dreaded AP marker, which hodls the A/C on your CRA file

when the DMP ended, it auto went to default '8' via the cra automarking.

i would suspect no DN has ever been issued here?

the top one has again gone '8' auto defaulted by the cra with no issue of a DN.

Jolly you did mention a dmp earlier so its a fair assumption.

I did read on my experts report that an 8 only happens when an agreement is cancelled but am not sure if you breaching a contract by not paying is enough to cancel it or if they still need to write to you.

certainly a creditor can end an agreement at anytime regardless

to DN or TN. its in the agreement and the CCA rules N regs.

an '8' has no relation to this.

typically an '8' or 'D' simply means default

it does not have to have had a DN issued for it to show 8.

i've attached something to further your knowledge
