I can see Betterware post back again on this forum; this is outrageous! Creditors (such as banks and Betterware sharks) shouldn't be allowed to join these forums. Creditors sneaking these forums discourage those who have debt problems and are looking for advise. These sharks shouldn't be allowed near they preys.

Reps from companies do have to go through procedures before being given permission to post.

In this instance permission had not been granted and the post was removed pending their contact with Admin.

This is usual practice.

Betterware did respond to the request to contact Admin, where it was established that they had legitimacy and brief to respond in an official capacity.

As a result the post was re-instated.

First and foremost The CAG is here for its members.

By allowing company reps who show willingness to resolve member complaints to be given that chance,we have seen some good results across the forums.

Reps are not allowed to post here, unless they agree to follow the site rules, are not here merely to promote their company,or otherwise for vested interests aside from dealing with complaints.

I cannot see what all the fuss is about, regardless of whether you signed the agreement or not, you received goods which you were suppose to pay for. If you sold the goods to the customers, 70% of what you collected should have been paid to Betterware. You cannot use that money to pay your other debts! contact them asap and make an agreement to pay something weekly or monthly, as long as you are paying something, they will not take you to court.

hello sunday off again..

dx

please don't hit Quote...just type we know what we said earlier..

DCA's view debtors as suckers, marks and mugs

NO DCA has ANY legal powers whatsoever on ANY debt no matter what it's Type

and they

are NOT and can NEVER  be BAILIFFS. even if a debt has been to court..

If everyone stopped blindly paying DCA's Tomorrow, their industry would collapse overnight...

I hope you've sorted out payment of your debt by now.

I just wanted to say that I had exactly the same problems as you with the false 'selling' of the Betterware 'job'.

I was a TSA too.

I stupidly stuck it out for 6 months, having been told that I could earn a living at it.

By Betterware's standards I was very good.

In my first week I was ranked 5th in the TSA UK rankings and I was always in the top 30, and usually top 15.

Despite that, my average weekly profits were less than I'm now getting on the dole.

I struggled on, believing that it must be possible to earn better money, because 'they' said it was,

and consequently went further and further into debt.

The ads that say you can earn national minimum wage, or £250 to £600 a week, are blatant lies.

They shouldn't be allowed to advertise on the Job Centre website.

I am also in Scotland - it was the Area manager who took me on and lied about the prospects.

I despise the whole concept of Betterware and other pyramid selling companies.

They take advantage of financially vulnerable people and the only ones who make money are the ******** at the top.
