Hi,

hope this is the right place to post.

I received a threatening letter from a DCA shortly after they bought my debt.

Letter was a threat to put a charging order on my property.

I've since discovered from reading the OFT rules on unfair practice that a threat that a legal action eg a charging order before any court has made a judgement is deemed unfair.

Can anyone tell me or point me to other threads of how I go about reporting this to the OFT.

I have copied the original letter from the DCA and they have since sent me a screen print of correspondence sent to me which shows they sent this letter and that they themselves refer to it as a 'Charging order threat letter'.

Any help on how to report these amoeba appreciated

You can either write to the OFT direct, or send an email, direct via their website.

Thanks citizenb. Didn't know if there was a template letter knocking around in the forums or if I have to complain to the DCA first.

No ignore the DCA, there is sweet fanny adams they can do anyway.

Who ever heard of someone getting a job at the Jobcentre? The unemployed are sent there as penance for their sins, not to help them find work!
