Hi

Sure this has been done before, but I have a LTSB account with an £800 overdraft.

I need a parachute account for when I send off the next letter tomorrow, and could do with getting one asap just in case.

I have a fairly good credit rating ( im guessing here, but I got an egg card for BTs last week no bother) So no "basic" acocunt for me please, I do need swicth or visadelta on my account

Any ideas?

Yes I saw that cheddar, but the step & other basic accounts dont give swtich or visa delta only solo ( pointless abroad) and ive got a 600 OD that doenst look covered by these bank accounts.

if it helps, i've just opened a parachute account with First Direct, they offer £500 free overdraft, give you £50 when you switch, and its 'free' banking - although, I guess most banks say that and as we know, 'free' has a different meaning to the banks! its 24 hour telephone and internet banking too which is handy.

I opened a nationwide as well but they could only offer me a cashcard basic account - and as I go abroad fairly frequently, I'm not entirely sure whether it would be that useful to me or not ?!

hope this helps
