Hi, just received a PCN for parking on a road but not in a marked bay (road had not single or double yellow lines).

The thing is the PCN is computer printed, it has the correct registration but the wrong car make. Is this grounds to ignore this parking notice or do I have to pay?

Thanks in advance.

Tim

Unlike the registration number, a PCN does not have to specify the type of car, so if it did specify it incorrectly that would not make the PCN invalid.

This assumes that it's a council ticket (if it is it will mention the Traffic Management Act). If it's a private ticket things are a bit different.
