HELP! vehicle control services LTD parking fine

Hi,

 

I was shopping with an extremely elderly lady today (89) and I stopped at Asda Harpurhey to assist her to the bank. I pulled up in the disabled bay and walked her in. I ran back to move the car and by the time I got back I had received a parking fine from Vehicle control services for £100! I know that I shouldn't have been stupid enough to park in a disabled bay without the badge but she didnt have it with her and its too far to walk to the bank from the non disabled bays as they are at the other side of Harpurhey market. I am devastated about the £100 fine. I am only a student and my nan offered to pay but I wont let her. I think this is extortionate! Is there anything that I can do to get rid of this fine!?? Its not even a council fine!! Any help would be good

This is not a FINE and the blue badge scheme does not apply to private land. You don't owe them a penny. For further reassurance please read other threads on here that deal with private parking tickets.

Ignore. They haven't a prayer in court. They will send some threatening letters some in scary red ink and may even send them from not really a solicitor (Graham White) and debt collection threateners.

 

Only respond to signed and stamped court documents. (Come back here!)

Ignore everything. The BB doesn't apply on private land.

Ignore VCS and anything other than genuine stamped court papers. If you want a laugh Google VCS v Ibbotson and HMRC v VCS.

hi laurafbrann,this has happened to me,recently please let me know what happened and how you got on,did you end up paying it ? did you get hassled any letters ? and did they contact dvla

hi instrumentsofjoy,just replied to the guy who parked on a disabled bay,cos this recently happened to me on a sunday,got a ticket by vcs,do they get in touch with the dvla and can they send balifs round to find your car and take it !!!!! hope you reply thanks
