Actually, the total monthly payments are £861.20, it shows 8& simple inteterest as £160.04 so total £1021.24

Number of days elapsed 1425, claim from 19/11/08 to 16/11/12

The SOC is taking way too long so must be something not right!

Do these add up?

The first d/d of £15.57 shows 1425 days elapsed and £4.88 interest

The last d/d of £3.22 shows 15 days elapsed and £0.01 interest

I had downgraded it to keep it open as short of £££ hence the difference.

Hope that helps!

If you have entered the date of payment correctly and entered the payment correctly then the sheet will be right.

The "Claim to" date should be set to today.

For a payment of £15.57 made on 22/12/08 I get 1428 days elapsed and £4.89 interest.

What do you mean you downgraded it?

Thanks ims

When I was out of work last time I reduced to the lowest montly payment to keep it going and then was planning to put it back up to full cover when started working again. I did increase my sickness one but not this one for some reason.

Yes I guess if you round the number up it would be about right then.

  • 1 month later...

Hi and hope your all having a nice Christmas :)

I sent the letter and got a reply saying they are looking into it and would get back to me within 10 working days, 10 working days later I got pretty much the same thinking saying they are still looking into it and hope for a resolution within 10 working days!

Hmmmmmmm, normal I guess?

Cheers

Hi guys,

Finally I have an answer...but im sure as some of you may have guessed...its not the one I want!

They are saying they have listened to all the calls from 2008, named dates and said at no time did I say I was not living at that address, I know I did :(

But, the part they may have slipped up on, they state there was no advice in relation to a mortgage policy, now I know this is untrue as he based the amount of cover on the cost of the mortgage, grrrr

I suppose this is standard as they are not just going to hand the money over?

Do I maybe request copies of the phone calls or ask for anything further or what do I do now please?

Many thanks

Ed
