I am trying to pursue a claim for my PPI payments on a HP agreement taken out in 2004

and have found out that due to the age of the agreement the company who sold me the car was not regulated by the FSA,

is there any point pursuing the claim against an unregulated company.

The PPI payment was one which was added to my loan as a one off payment totaling £925.

It was missold on the following grounds.

I was told my HP loan would not be successful if i did not take out PPI and GAP Insurance as i was a high Risk Customer (bad credit rating).

I was not told the insurance could be purchased from other sources

I informed the seller that as i worked for a company that provided FULL PAY for sickness the policy was not needed.

The Car Sales company was Called CAR CREDIT UK LTD a subsidiarity of Contact Center finance services,

the loan was provided by First response finance but they have already told me to BOG OFF as the agreement is over 6yrs old and they do not need to investigate after this time.

Any advice greatly received

Maybe gives fos a call and tell them the companies involved and see whether they can help.

If not then the FLA may be of assistance.

As a last resort you could approach the underwriter of the policy.

DCA's view debtors as suckers, marks and mugs

NO DCA has ANY legal powers whatsoever on ANY debt no matter what it's Type

and they

they are WRONG

there is NO time limit on PPI reclaims.

limitations act

simple state that

then if they comeback with yet another excuse the FOS will get involved as they are then obstructing your claim.

can you please scan up the refusal letter

scan the required letters/agreements/sheets - as a picture[jpg] file

don't forget you can use a mobile phone or a digital camera too!!

or

convert existing PC files to PDF [office has an installable print to PDF option]

.

'

BUT......

ENSURE: remove all pers info inc. barcodes etc using paint program

but leave all figures and dates. {DO NOT USE A BIRO OR PEN]

.

goto one of the many free online pdf converter websites

it would be better to upload a multipage pdf if

you have many images too rather than many single pdfs

.

or if you have PDF as an installed printer drive use that

or use word and save as pdf

try and logically name your file so people know what it is.

i'e Default notice dd-mm-yyyy

.

open a new msg box here

hit go advanced below the msg box

hit manage attachments below that box

hit the add files button on the top right

hit select files, navigate to your file on your pc

hit upload files

.
