Morning All,

 

after 20+ years my quit day has finally come around.

 

I am using a combination of patches and inhalers as recommended by the chemist.

 

and i have an ecig if it all goes "pear shaped"

I gave up around 3 months ago using a e cig , menthol taste better but you get use to the taste of other ones.

 

put up barriers the smell , cost ,expensive what ever works

 

i cant stand the smell and hate it nothing worse than a x smoker

I felt worse before i felt better but now i fees so much better fight through its worth it think of that holiday or new car with the money you save

Hi I gave up more than 25 years ago I now drive a new car paid for from money I would have paid out on 40 a day. As you say not easy but if you have a goal in mind makes it a lot easier.

i have just brought a car yesterday doing it the other way!!

 

have to stay stopped smoking to pay running of car 2.0 V8

Fingers crossed for you...I 'gave up' around 9 times over 10 years using everything possible - i looked like a patchwork quilt at one point, I had that many sticky bits on me.

 

Stopped now for 5 years, using Allan Carr method. (not chatty man!)and I know I will never, ever smoke again...and more importantly, I don't want to and I don't miss it one bit.
