Income and expenditure over the phone

I have set up plans with various creditors.all have different procedures. But 2 in particular insist on doing income and expenditure over the phone which is difficult as companies have different forms. My question is do you have to do the income and expenditure over the phone or can i insist i send it in to them

No you can insist you do it in writting and you are not obliged to do it at all, it's your money and YOU TELL THEM what you can afford not them!!

you don't have to give them any information on income they will claim it is to check you can afford to pay

sO THEY CANNOT SAY THEY ARE THE MOST IMPORTANT DEBT AND I WILL HAVE TO RENEGOGIATE WITH MY OTHER CREDITORS aLSO THEY THEY HAVE GIVEN ME 6 MONTHS AND MY OFFER IS NOT ACCEPTABLE SO THEY WANT TO INCREASE IT

Even with Santander for a mortgage, are you obliged to do it over the phone, as their customer service is dreadful.....

SOME YEARS AGO I WAS CAUGHT OUT BY A COMPANY THAT CLAIMED THEY WOULD LOOK AT THE CREDIT AGREEMENT.

 

i MISTAKENLY PAID OUT AND THEY WENT BUST.

 

i HAVE SINCE GOT BACK THE UNFAIR CHARGES.

 

ALL I WANT IS TO PAY MY DEBT AND BE ABLE TO SUPPORT MY FAMILY

 

BUT ALL THESE COMPANIES DO IS PUSH AND PUSH NO THATS UNFAIR

 

SOME HAVE BEEN REASONABLE AND THE STAFF HAVE BEEN VERY HELPFUL

 

OTHERS HAVE BEEN RUDE REDUCED ME TO TEARS SLEEPLESS NIGHTS ETC.

 

WHEN I AM TRYING TO WORK WITH THEM.

Good, you could also that you have completed an I&E and find you can only afford half of the original offer!!

can i advise that you STOP talking on the phone to ALL your ceditors/dca's

 

have you ever looked at your CRA file?

 

do aLL these debts show?

 

have you asked everyone that is wanting your to pay them

if they have a copy of the agreement for the debt?

 

it would help us to help you

 

if you listed all you debts and to whom you are paying them too.

When you say ask for the agreements what can this do?

 

Can you direct me to a place on the site to read up on this because this is what we paid ratio money to do for us

and as you will know they went out of business and we lost our money
