2 Stat Demands from same company.

Hi all,

 

I'm being chased by a pdl company currently. the amount is for over £1500 but the default a year ago was for £250. I am going to have to deal with this but I'm going to apply for the stat demand to be set aside as I dispute the amount.

 

Anyway, I received a stat demand by post about 10 days ago, then 2 days ago I received the same stat demand for the same debt but with a different date on it by email.

 

This seems a little like they're using a stat demand as a debt collection tool. They've never attempted personal service and would I be wrong in saying it's very odd for them to send two stat demands with different dates within the 18 days? Would the later one supercede the earlier one?

 

I'm confused and hope I can deal with this.

Immediate report to the OFT with copies of the SDs, then a formal complaint to the compliance manager at the PDL company.

the required letters/agreements/sheets - as a picture[jpg] file

don't forget you can use a mobile phone or a digital camera too!!

or

convert existing PC files to PDF [office has an installable print to PDF option]

BUT......

ENSURE: remove all pers info inc. barcodes etc using paint program

but leave all figures and dates. {DO NOT USE A BIRO OR PEN]

goto one of the many free online pdf converter websites

it would be better to upload a multipage pdf if

you have many images too rather than many single pdfs

or if you have PDF as an installed printer drive use that

or use word and save as pdf

open a new msg box here

hit go advanced below the msg box

hit manage attachments below that box

hit the add files button on the top right

hit select files, navigate to your file on your pc

hit upload files

Hi, of course I will this afternoon, out currently

 

My only concern would be that if I put up dates and exact amounts could that not be traceable by the dca and used as proof of service for both?

 

As I say I'm very happy to but I'm just curious.
