I am new to this but i will try and get it right.

I had an accident six and a half years ago and tried to claim on my ppi on a loan i had.

I was told that i couldnt claim as my circumstances did not fit the policy.

I could not work due to the accident and had to go bankrupt.

I could never had claimed on this ppi as i had not been in my employment long enough when i took out the loan.

Have i got any chance of getting my bankruptcy over turned.

If i could have claimed on my ppi i would never have needed to go bankrupt.

can anyone help advise me?

DCA's view debtors as suckers, marks and mugs

NO DCA has ANY legal powers whatsoever on ANY debt no matter what it's Type

and they

are NOT and can NEVER  be BAILIFFS. even if a debt has been to court..

If everyone stopped blindly paying DCA's Tomorrow, their industry would collapse overnight...

Thankyou for the replies. I am discharged from the bankruptcy and re claiming the ppi at the moment, it has been 4 weeks and just waiting for the answer. I really wanted to know if I could get my bankruptcy overturned . If this "reclaiming ppi" was about at the time i would never have gone bankrupt. I still havent worked since the accident, and have alot of medical paper work about the operation i had and the further surgery i am going to need. Just wondered if anyone had ever heard of overturning a bankruptcy case, and where to even start??

Louise, ANY PPI claimed after you are made BR on finance created before BR ALWAYS belongs to the OR so you may be claiming it now but you will need to BY LAW inform the Insolvency service and hand it all over to them. Otherwise you are in breach of your legal agreement and may be prosecuted and taken to court.

It it sometimes possible to cancel your bankruptcy by paying off all your debt AND the insolvency fees accrued (which can be a four fugure sum) this is quite an arduous process and so not many people do.
