Our child is starting school in 3 weeks and I need to advise them if a reduction in childcare costs.

I have been given advice to work out what the avg weekly cost over the year will be to allow for school holidays etc

This will make it about 30.00 p w dearer.

Is this correct? Or will they look at it as fraud

I declare what my school term fees are and also your holiday fees are.

They then work out your avverage weeky childcare costs and you are only required to nofiy if your childcare costs increase or decrease by £10 per week after that :)

Don't forget they can only accept registered childcare providers

When working out mine I work out how much my weekly fees are when at school and times this by 38. Then work out how much your weekly fees are during the holidays and times by 14 add both figures together and divide by 52. This will gives you a weekly average.

Hope this helps
