ims can you have a quick read of this and let me know if it's too short

Iam writing in response to your letter dated 21st August 2012. I donot agree with your findings and insist that you send me screenshots of myon-line application.

Iwould not have voluntarily taken out insurance that I would not be able toclaim off therefore I believe that your online application process involved apre-ticked box that would not allow me to proceed once un-ticked.

I am writing in response to your letter dated 21st August 2012.

your letter is pure speculaton upon 'how' EGG 'think' the process worked at that time.

i can assure you that i would not have ever have taken out PPI, if the option allowed.

the PPI box WAS pre-ticked, with little or no obv method to deselect it

or be able to progress with the application when un-ticked.

i respectfulyl refer you too:

http://www.guardian.co.uk/money/2008/dec/10/ppi-mis-selling-credit-cards

please forward me screenshots of my application to prove I DID

manually select PPI rather than not, unselecting it.

please don't hit Quote...just type we know what we said earlier..

DCA's view debtors as suckers, marks and mugs

NO DCA has ANY legal powers whatsoever on ANY debt no matter what it's Type

and they

are NOT and can NEVER  be BAILIFFS. even if a debt has been to court..

If everyone stopped blindly paying DCA's Tomorrow, their industry would collapse overnight...

  • 10 months later...

Hi Inertia Creeps,

I had to pass this complaint onto the Financial Obudsman because Egg still refused to pay out. Their waiting list is so long that I think it will be a few more months before I hear anything.

Hope you get yours sorted soon

Take Care

Lisa

Thanks for your reply Lisa and good luck. I've been refused with 1 claim, got another 2 in so I can assume I will get refused on those also. Trying to find out when they used to pre ticked boxes but can't find it!!

if I remember correctly they stoppped pre-ticking in 2007(ish) so any applications prior to that would most definately have been pre-ticked. I'm not sure if the lovely Ims, DX or CB (well any lovely site team really  ) could clarify please??
