Hi Everyone,

I've been hanging round for a few days researching my position.

I just want to check that I have things straight in my mind so I can get started.

we had 3 accounts with shop direct.

For a few reasons we found it difficult to pay the full monthly amounts.

We got in touch requesting that interest was frozen and that they acccept £50 per month per account.

This was refused.

Yesterday I paid £150 off 2 of the accounts and tried to pay the same off the Littlewoods account,

but I can't login to pay it. I knew it had been moved to NDR.

I tried to login there to see how/where I should pay but it says to contact Littlewoods.

I have emailed Littlewoods explaining that I would like to pay, they informed me to contact NDR! Frustrating!

I see from the forums, that I should have paid the £50 each month regardless and continue to tell them that's what they're getting.

I have formed a plan - could someone please tell me if these are the correct courses of action.

1) To pay £50 per month per account. Whilst in the mean time getting them to freeze interest.

2) Send an SAR, and try to reclaim all charges (which are now disproportionate to things we got from the catalogues!!)

Is this the right way of dealing with them? Will have a reasonable chance at reclaiming all charges? Or at least some?

Thank you!

You will have their account number and sort code, so just do a transer using on-line banking or if you haven't signed up to bank that way, go into your branch and do the transfer that way.

Hello,

Thank you for replying!

I've looked everywhere and can't find the details, had thought of transferring online!

I have been in touch asking for bank details - no reply as yet!

So I am I right in thinking reclaiming is the next step?

Thanks!

Hello everyone!

Quick update.

After reading through other threads on the forum - I emailed Neil Chandler directly.

I stated how many times I had tried to pay and that I requested interest frozen and all charges removed.

I had an email from the customer excellence team. They told me one of my accounts had been sold to external debt collections, but they are going to recall it as I have been trying to pay.

They accepted my offer of payment and took all charges off!!

Whoo hoo!!

  • 2 weeks later...
  • 1 month later...

complain about them and that you want them refunded as they are unlawful PENALTY charges.
