I used to dread the postie and hat nasties he would drop on my door mat but now

I am like a kid before christmas, I cant wait to get home at night to see what delights are awaiting my action...who is next to be taken to the cleaners, whi has just admitted to not having the required info ......

I love this complete turn around.

I'm like this as well. Made worse by the fact that some days the postie turns up at 830 and other days he turns up at 1230. I think th ewoman that works in the post office round the corner from me also wonders why I post so many letters recorded delivery. :)

Every morning when I've seen the kids off to school, I run round getting all my jobs done (the boring stuff like washing, cleaning etc) Then My best friend, neighbour and partner in our reclaim mission Kizzyella sit either at her or my kitchen table with a cuppa and wait for the postman. I've found it's good to have a friend who is also claiming. We're at the same stage, so we talk alot about what threads we have read and compare notes and just help each other out.

Reidnet - Its what you get for living in the sticks.

I used tolive in city (cardiff) and we would often have two posts per day. When we had foot and mouth I didnt even get any post becoz I lived up a lane (i dont even have a farm!!!!!).

Thank god when Im off work because quiet often if I get an important letter I cant even deal with it till the nest day as we dont see them till we get home from work.

Watched GMTV this am and it seems this is the situation for most of the country now thou not just hillie billies like me!!!!
