Thank you all for your replies.

In answer to your questions on my Noodle credit file there is only the credit cards and payday loans listed and no other debts.

- then SERFIOUSLY consider WHY the other debts DO NOT SHOW. investigate WHY.

In relation to PPI I do not think that I have this on Aqua Card however I took a break in payment with Vanquis Bank when I was off sick from work.

- vanquis will have ROP ibet

In relation to the loans I am aware that there was PPI on these however as the loans were taken out in my married name and I divorced after that,

in order for me to claim this back they need a copy of my Decree Absolute which I have mislaid.

I need to pay £60 for a replacement. - no you DONT , get reclaiming

Regarding the 6 year gap, there have only been a gap of around 2 years or so then after this I have received letters requesting money again.

- doesnt matter what letters THEY WRITE, YOUR last payment starts the clock

I have received discounts on some of the loans but was and am unable to afford the lump sums.

- disregard ANY debt that you have a discount on!!

I would need to borrow the money to pay them which defeats the object.

I have a large amount of debts that I have been trying to repay.

I took on an IVA however that failed as I have a long standing illness in the form of sciatic like back problems that affect my mobility, I have had this for over 17 years.

I previously explained this to Payplan who I had the IVA with but they still advised me that an IVA was the correct route.

As I considered I was ill advised I made a complaint to the FOS who are currently investigating.

Now I am trying to make arrangements again to pay off this debt however with my back problems my work is becoming less consistent and when I am unable to work, I only receive SSP.

My friend suggested bankruptcy however I would face the similar problem of being unable to contribute any money when I am off sick from work.

The last time I was off sick was December 2012 when I was off for 3 months. I returned to work in March 2013 but as my back is causing problems again. I am considering reducing my hours and I do not know how long I can keep up working full-time.

Below are a list of my payday loans which I need to repay.

Micro Credit £265.02 on my credit file is £525

Quick Quid £407.64

Txt loans £254.10

Speedycash £393.75

Oakam £232.05 which on my credit file is £2285

Wonga £560.16 which is on my credit file is £566

Capital One £900

Pounds to Pocket £351 - on my credit file

The others are not listed on my Noodle Credit file. I have not checked the others as yet.

Is your income mainly benefits, or from your employment?

Your situation is pretty easy to fix, but you need to make sure you have everything in order, as most of the PDL's you have listed LOVE to be stubborn and threaten you. If you have everything in writing and genuinely cant meet repayments, its pretty straightforward to sort things out.

Any advice i give is my own and is based solely on personal experience. If in any doubt about a situation , please contact a certified legal representative or debt counsellor..

Just to update you, I have just check my credit file on Equifax and it also contains very limited information.

There is only Vanquis Bank for £462 and Aqua for £339. I also notice that Shopacheck is listed however this states 'settled' with a balance of 0 but there is nothing else listed here which is very strange. It states that it is a snapshot so I do not think it is my full credit report even though it is meant to be a free trail for 30 days.

Just reread your thread again. If you go BR the official receiver deals with your creditors and if you have no money they won't take it. I think 42man is the BR expert on here. I would never ignore any debt even if you know it is not enforceable. The offer of a discount means nothing. Communicate with your creditors even if its to say you have no money

Thank you for your response.

Just some question to the Site Team.

How do I go about investigating the differences on my credit files?

What is ROP?

How do I claim the PPI on my loans even when they have stated that they would like a copy of my Decree Absolute?

The offers of discounts were valid for a certain amount of time and they have continued to write to me as I could not take up the offer, what should I do?

Many thanks

I am not site team but for what its worth I would send off a cca request to the loans and credit cards as well as catalogues IF they were taken out prior to april 2007. Send the request to whoever is writing to you.

As I said a very likely reason for them not being on your credit file is that they have been defaulted more than 6 years ago.

Are you using your married name or have you changed it, if so have you checked files in both names.

rop is vanquis ppi .

if the debts are defaulted more than 6yrs yes they will not show on cra file

you need to be careful here

those with a discount offer fire off a cca request

to whoever has made the discount.

typically it means they are un-en in court.

please dont rush in

Ok, I understand now.

I was divorced in 2004 and I notice that many of the debts since then are not showing on my credit file.

They are in my maiden name.

Please could you tell me what to do about the debt from Shopacheck

which I have recently received a letter from as they sold it to another company.

This debt is showing settled on my file.

I will check on the ones making the offer and send off a letter to them.

Many thanks

shopa check is welcome finance

it will be all PENALTY charges & PPI.

start a thread in the welcome finance forum.

as for the 'names' etc

as long as your old name is listed

and the old addresses on the cra file you should be ok.

It will show as settled because they have sold it.

In due course it may appear under another name.

If it does make sure the default name is the same.

Do shopacheck work the same as provident

as I know they do not add penalty charges or extra interest.

Just re-checking the Noodle credit file,

I notice that it starts from the 0/06/2005 which is after my divorce

however Shopacheck or Welcome Finance is not listed.

Why is it that some debts after this date is not listed on this credit file?

Also after checking Equifax where Shopacheck is listed there is no default date only a settlement date

however I have a default letter which states defaulted on 10/04/2012.

The problem with trying to check under my married name is that the companies require a visa card in that name which I do not have, so this is a problem.

I have just re-read the letter from Lewis Debt Recover who state that they act for CL Finance

and that the debt with Welcome Finance Services has been assigned to their client.

Then they go on to say that the debt must be paid immediately by 7th June 2013 or they will take further action.

However in exceptional circumstances they may be prepared to allow me to repay the sum due by installments.
