Hello

My dad up has hpjust told me that he has Ppi on his mortgage (with C&G) and that when he took the mortgage out, he was told he HAD to take out Ppi with c&g to enable him to have the mortgage.

I'm not sure what the payments are but the house is actually being sold next week and the morgtgage paid off.

On the letter my dad gave me, it says 'C&G payment protection plus insurance'

Do you think it's worth a shot at claiming this back?

Thx x

If it was sold as compulsory then yes it should be claimed back.

Is this a single premium added to the mortgage at the start or is it a separate fixed monthly payment?

yes i've done it myself

also look for 'compusory life insurance'

critical illness etc etc

the ONLY think you must have is building insurance [in the absence of any other buildings inurance being already erxising]

got them on all three [scottish widows]

the mortgage rep would have got a hefty commission on all of them which is why he was told [in a closed office, he had to have them].

check his personal summary document

bet its a loaD OF cack he remembers nothing like what is written

dx

please don't hit Quote...just type we know what we said earlier..

DCA's view debtors as suckers, marks and mugs

NO DCA has ANY legal powers whatsoever on ANY debt no matter what it's Type

and they

are NOT and can NEVER  be BAILIFFS. even if a debt has been to court..

If everyone stopped blindly paying DCA's Tomorrow, their industry would collapse overnight...
