Does anybody have a contact email for Barclays Partner Finance?

If possible the Managing Director would be good.

Have just phoned up for a settlement figure only to be told that it's significantly more than the current outstanding balance on the account...

Can't find one, write to the HO address mark the letter confidential.

The settlement figures are always lousey from them, I handled one

recently 6 months left to pay actual settlement figure £8 less than

the OS balance.

Any Letters I Draft are N0T approved by CAG and no personal liability is accepted.

DCA's view debtors as suckers, marks and mugs

NO DCA has ANY legal powers whatsoever on ANY debt no matter what it's Type

and they

are NOT and can NEVER  be BAILIFFS. even if a debt has been to court..

If everyone stopped blindly paying DCA's Tomorrow, their industry would collapse overnight...

Hi FlySi,

As DX says, if the a/c has ever been in arrears, reclaim all penalty charges applied to the a/c before settling.

Also, consider if and PPI was mis-sold.

BPF have a habit of charging you £22.50 for every late payment. And they do it every 15 days too. I was in a similar situation with my balance 3 times the size of the original amount borrowed, despite repaying for 2 years and not actually having anything outstanding. I calimed every single penny back eventually. Good luck!
