2 and a half months ago I bought a car from a dealer on Hire Purchase and 2 weeks after I bought it the engine cut out while I was turning a corner.

They took it into their garage and said they couldn't find anything wrong with it so gave it back.

It happened again, they took it into the garage and yet again said they could find nothing wrong with it and gave it back and told me to put it to the back of my mind.

It happened again a month after they gave it back and is still in their garage now.

It's got to the point where I am scared to drive the car as each time it cuts out I almost crash as I lose control.

This is especially bad seeing as i'm a community carer and use my car for at least 5 hours a day.

What do I do?

I just want to give the car back.

I'm losing so much sleep over this.

please don't hit Quote...just type we know what we said earlier..

DCA's view debtors as suckers, marks and mugs

NO DCA has ANY legal powers whatsoever on ANY debt no matter what it's Type

and they

are NOT and can NEVER  be BAILIFFS. even if a debt has been to court..

If everyone stopped blindly paying DCA's Tomorrow, their industry would collapse overnight...

Something similar to this has just started to happen to a mates car, and it cuts out on corners the same as yours. His is a Citroen, and we are thinking it may be related to the fuel/engine cut off system used in crashes (along with airbags etc). No garage has been able to pinpoint the problem so far though. What make is your car?
