effectively BM have until close of business tomorrow to file a defence on moneyclaim against a claim for £6949 inc interest and costs.If they don't,they will not be able to do so over the weekend(actual deadline is sunday),and I will be able to file for judgment by default in the early hours of monday morning.......

Just got the letter-they are not defending the claim on financial viability grounds,and they are sending me £5000 plus costs,out of a claim of £6949!!!

 

HAPPY DAYS!!!!!The full claim minus the interest.......

 

donation on its way when the cheque clears-and gladly!!!!

I amopen to suggestions in that respect-I still can't quite believe how easy it was.£5K will make an awful lot of difference to us.....

 

Part of me says take the £5k as if you only accept as partail settlement they are likely to withdraw, and as the ERC claim is relatively new we don't know how they are going to react. I think if I was you I would take the ERC paid and costs incurred and be happy with the victory. Others may think differently but as you say £5K is a lot of money.

LTWFB as a matter of interest ive a couple of ERCs im going after did you issue claim through NI courts or use your mates english address? £2k limits a bit of a bummer !
