Hi,

I received a letter from Fenton regarding a debt with Arrow Global.

I sent a CCA request to Fenton who indicating they had forwarded my request to their client.

I then receive a letter from Arrow saying they do not accept they are the creditor as envisaged by the CCA 1974 statue, but are willing to assist in obtaining what i have requested, and that they will process my request with the original creditor (MBNA) and will revert in due course.

They returned my payment of £1.00

My credit record shows the debt with MBNA is satisfied as debt assigned, and an account with Arrow is in default.

Does this mean the 12+2 days for the CCA request has been reset ?

How do I stand in my request for the CCA as my fee has been returned ?

Thanks in advance for your help.

Nigel

are you saying the same debt is listed twice?

please don't hit Quote...just type we know what we said earlier..

DCA's view debtors as suckers, marks and mugs

NO DCA has ANY legal powers whatsoever on ANY debt no matter what it's Type

and they

are NOT and can NEVER  be BAILIFFS. even if a debt has been to court..

If everyone stopped blindly paying DCA's Tomorrow, their industry would collapse overnight...

Hi,

Yes this is for a credit card.

OK i will wait to see if i get anything back from MBNA, should I still send the dispute letter after the original 12+2 days from the CCA request ?

Yes, the same debt is listed twice on my noddle record. Once with MBNA under closed accounts listed as satisfied with Debt Assigned, and once under current accounts with Arrow Global listed as default.

Thanks for the info.

I wouldn't show too much eagerness to engage with them.

Wait for the response to the CCA request and then let us know what that uncovers.

Regarding your credit file dx is right it shouldn't appear twice so I'd take this up with the CRAs.

  • 1 month later...

Hi,

I have now received a response from Arrow & MBNA where they have provided copies of the agreement & T's & C's.

The 12+2 day response expired on 22/06, which is around 2 months overdue. Is it a problem that they have taken so long to respond ?
