See it every time there.

In fact last time there bus I was travelling in to airport was stopped at a main junction...driver was ordered to show papers which were all in order. They then inspected the bus which was all ok (1 year old Merc sprinter)..they then took him in checkpoint office and he ended up paying them.

Best of it was 2 of the police were visibly drunk.

Was on a Friday...and Fridays are known to be the worst days for getting stopped as the Police look for money for their weekend vodka.

Russia is exactly same..I lost count of how many times car was stopped.

In one incident was travelling in car with exes uncle.

Police saw 3 bottles of vodka on floor in back of car..and took them saying driver might be tempted to drink and drive.!!!

It is a standing joke.
