Was I hearing things ? The woman said that the police asked the bailiff to leave and he refused ? What the dikens ? In ref

to May newsletter, collection of oustanding c/tax and parking tickets should be kept in house by councils.. The councils are being taken for mugs, the bailiffs are simply ripping them off. Surely now councils should be sitting up and taking notice. In summary an unpaid p/ticket is ratified by Nottingham kangaroo court, sent back to council for collection who then authorises collection by contracted bailiff. So for arguments sake the fine is £60 +£17 court costs, by the time it reaches its destination, Mr Smith Acacia Avenue the amount to be collected will spiral to £370. You cannot tell me a council can turn a blind eye to this. The council must surely employ someone to liase and genrally oversee the bailiffs. If only to get a bigger share of the profits

BBC need to post an apology and correct their errors with that Item.

Since when have County Court Bailiff's enforcing a CCJ had the authority to force entry?

Absolute disgrace BBC!!! How many poor people have now been misinformed and will allow a Bailiff with a CCJ in worried they will be broken into?

I have filled in a factual error complaint form, and ask everyone else to do so also, the link is:

Thats how bailiffs work by fear and disinformation. For every one wised up cagger there is probably 1000s who do not have a clue. You hear about bailiffs threatening to have your kids put in care and you imprisoned, you granny tazered and joe public through ignorance believe them.

Just so you know,

The woman in the video is a certified insolvency practitioner... hence she was a quick to start banging on about other debts, probably because she wants you to get an IVA with her company hmm.... i dont trust her or her company.

Backdoor advertising on the Beeb? and misinformation about bailiffs and their non existent powers.

Click on the link I posted, and make a complaint! :D

I already have, as should all Caggers. Remember the BBC is as bad as any bailiff, after all they use Capita to intimidate people to pay for for a piece of paper to give permission to watch a TV....
