Hi,

I looked at my credit file the other day and discovered that I have a default placed there by Next Directory.

although, I contacted them and agreed to repay the amount in full if they would be so kind as to remove the default,

I was told that this was not possible.

Has anyone else had any success with getting a default removed by them?

Thanks in advance

Dave

Vodafone - Default removed (07/01/07).

MBNA - Claim settled with contractual interest and adjusted credit file to show no late payments (12/02/07).

CABOT - Taken to Court by Cabot/Morgan over alleged credit card debt, case dismissed (06/12/10).

most cat accounts are littered with £12 PENALTY fees

if you could prove the PENALTY charges were the sole reason for the default

then reclaim them and they then must then removed the default.

please don't hit Quote...just type we know what we said earlier..

DCA's view debtors as suckers, marks and mugs

NO DCA has ANY legal powers whatsoever on ANY debt no matter what it's Type

and they

are NOT and can NEVER  be BAILIFFS. even if a debt has been to court..

If everyone stopped blindly paying DCA's Tomorrow, their industry would collapse overnight...
