unless you can plead hardship or get them under bcobs, sadly bank charges are off the menu

dx

please don't hit Quote...just type we know what we said earlier..

DCA's view debtors as suckers, marks and mugs

NO DCA has ANY legal powers whatsoever on ANY debt no matter what it's Type

and they

are NOT and can NEVER  be BAILIFFS. even if a debt has been to court..

If everyone stopped blindly paying DCA's Tomorrow, their industry would collapse overnight...

Hi Rowbo,

As DX rightly says, reclaiming old bank charges is now generally a non-starter.

Reclaiming on the basis of Financial Difficulty would only apply if you have an a/c now (or very recently) which was hit with default charges - http://www.consumeractiongroup.co.uk/forum/content.php?557-Letter-for-an-application-for-consideration-for-hardship

Reclaiming now for an a/c that was running between 1990 and 1998 is never going to happen. Apart from anything else, you have just left it too long. :-(

:-)

We could do with some help from you
