Hello,

I am hoping someone can advise me what my rights are here. I purchased a TV Unit online which was delivered with a fault in it, and so I complained and after waiting a month or so for stock to come in, was sent a replacement. However, although initially on the phone they had said they would collect the old faulty item, when the people arrived to deliver the replacement they did not want it.

I then didn't hear anything for a month or so, and they have suddenly called me asking for the old unit back! I have since clear it out and taken it to the tip.

Do I have any protection here or am I in trouble?!

Many thanks for any assistance anyone can offer!

Cheers,

Joe.

Let common sense prevail......you were told in person that they didn't want it, so you took them at their word and disposed of it.....it's hardly your fault, tell them how it is.
