Ok big update for you on this case.

I contacted A Solicitor/Legal Firm , all I can say is what a supportive team, very sympathetic listened and gave advice. So I instructed them and yesterday not only have Link discontinued the claim, the Solicitors have got their costs met as well.

There were technicalities on the claim such as putting my name on it and not bringing action on the correct party and few errors in the paperwork and default notices. But they have also started claim for the PPI too at 26% per annum.

So a big win.

Take my advice - if you can afford to (and a £12k claim to find a fees to get it discontinued it WELL worth it!) get their help.

Massive weight off my wife & I's mind.

Admin - you can post this as a win / success?

Would be useful if you could let us know the specifics you fought the case on. They may have given up because they couldn’t stomach the fight, but what were the points of law/dispute? Would be good to know we were on the right lines for future reference.

Always good to hear success stories acydman. Congratulations.

As DonkeyB says, what would be a real help for caggers is some more detail.

Is the PPI claim on the same account as the discontinued claim?
