Have a read of this thread here.

http://www.consumeractiongroup.co.uk/forum/showthread.php?323576-Santander-PPI-on-Debenhams-Store-Card/page2&highlight=debenhams+ppi

You may well end up having to go to the underwriter depending on when your card was taken out.

I would suggest always starting the claim as in the thread linked.

Have you got all of your statements so that you can check any offer that might be made?

Yes I am dealing with the underwriter "Financial Services", They have offered me a very low monthly average compared to my average of statements, those I have ,I have some statement but not all. Policy started on 21/5/95 and ended 8/9/05.I was wondering if they have taken only PPI into account but not all the Cover Plan payment. Can they do that?

You could ask them to clarify their calculations so that you can see exactly what they have offered.

The problem is that going back this far the records at their end are probably non-existent.

If you can get a detailed breakdown you can compare against the statements you do have to see of there is a discrepancy. If there is you can challenge them and send evidence of higher payments and see what they come back with.

You might end up having to take a view on this claim and come to an agreement of what is acceptable.
