Now all gyms are under pressure to improve their contracts.

.........about time too !! The gyms and their admin companies are still shambolic in the way they treat customers.

Although the OFT took High Court action against Ashbourne Mgt Svs Ltd last year, other gyms and their admin companies continue to harass and bully customers relentlessly.

Nice find UKA !

Interestingly, the contract was for 24 months and the case should have been argued citing the case brought against Ashbourne Mgt Svs Ltd by the OFT in the High Court last year.

That judgement made it very clear that Mr Justice Kitchin felt contracts which exceeded 12 months could be unfair to the consumer if you couldn't cancel giving a month's notice and paying a "moderate sum" in compensation.

The Guardian article also says an announcement is due from the OFT this week about further action being taken to get gyms to behave more fairly with contracts.

Watch this space...........
