Did you have to make your claim in the end? If so and you need to cancel it, don't be in a hurry to do so!! (I know you probably know!!!) I received my cheque this morning, just over a week after receiving my offer letter, where some people have had to wait longer(up to 3 weeks!). I haven't cancelled my claim yet (doing it today!) and today was the last day of the 28 days.

Ok, received this letter this morning:

Thank you for returning your signed settlement form which I have received this morning concerning your above county court claim.

As agreed, I have refunded a total of £614.13 to your account and arranged to send you a cheque for the credit of £334.72 in full and final settlement of your county court claim.

When you receive this letter, please notify the court of the agreed settlement and we will do the same.

Once again, thank you for returning your form to me and I am pleased we have been able to resolve this matter without the need for taking up valuable court time.

Yours sincerely,

Hayley Marriott

Executive Office

Erm...how 'bout I tell the court when the cheque's cleared....

Congrats Bovvered :D

The cheque will come before their 28 days is up. They don't want you to click that judgement button!

When I received the settlement form with the letter asking me to stop court action, I replied saying thanks for the cheque but don't expect me to stop any court action until I receive the cheque and it has cleared (worded slightly better - but the message to them was pretty clear :p )

Almost there!! :D
