My parents were given poor advice and wondered if they were able to do anything about it legally? They tied up their money for a 1year period (meaning they couldnt touch it) and the interest they gained after that year was LESS than 1%! The bank admitted they put the money in a wrong account. Unfotunately they have no proof of the conversation of course.

Would appreciate any constructive criticism, thanks

Very tricky without the evidence. I would suggest getting them on the phone and seeing if you could get them to repeat the admission while recording the call.
