Hi all, my friend wink wink is having my final budgeting meeting with the CAB next week and most of the stuff to move forward with the dro has been put in the balance sheet etc, he just needs to finish off the application. The one problem is, he has recently had his car written off, and will now be getting a cheque for £700 and a £1300 personal injury cheque, which will become assets and take him over the £50 mark. Now i dont want to get anyone in trouble for colluding in fraud, but he owes quite a bit of money to family and paying them back before xmas would take a weight off his shoulders. Now if he was to cash the cheques in say a cheque cashing shop, without any money entering the bank account, would hei be able to continue with the DRO without anyone knowing...so to speak?
