Hi, maybe in the wrong place for this subject but help if you are able!:|

I have been told via a pension forecast that I have the required 30 years for a full state pension. At present I am on ESA and receiving credits. Should I fail my appeal, as I cannot work, I will withdraw my claim and live off savings for as long as possible. I would not be getting further credits but as I already have 30 years contributions am I correct in thinking that I will get the full state pension whenh I am 66? I have emailed the pension service about this but they don't seem to understand the question!

So your question is basically: if you pay no more NI contributions between now and your retirement age of 66, will you receive your full state pension, given that you already have 30 years of contributions?

If I've read that correctly, then I believe the answer is yes, you should still receive a full pension.
