Afternoon caggers :)


Bought jeans from Asos on my Vanquis credit card back in April.


Cancelled the card and closed the account in August.


A few weeks ago I returned the jeans to Asos, who accepted they were faulty and issued a refund to the Vanquis credit card.


Vanquis have no record of the refund.


Asos say they need proof the account has been closed from Vanquis in order to refund by another method.


The 'proof' arrived today. The letter stating I closed the account has todays date on it, which is no good to Asos.


I have the final statement too. This makes no mention of the account being closed.


Argghhhh! Does anyone have any ideas how to resolve this?

I have no legal qualifications whatsoever, so please check any input I have for accuracy. And please correct me if you disagree!
