Hi

I would challenge Cabot on their 12%. Ask where there are terms that allow them to do so.

As for token payments. They never like it but what can they do?

so they've brought an old cat debt?

1000's on here with the same issue

wont hurt to outline the details

and no they cant charge anything unless they have brought it outright

does this show on your cra file?

dx

please don't hit Quote...just type we know what we said earlier..

DCA's view debtors as suckers, marks and mugs

NO DCA has ANY legal powers whatsoever on ANY debt no matter what it's Type

and they

are NOT and can NEVER  be BAILIFFS. even if a debt has been to court..

If everyone stopped blindly paying DCA's Tomorrow, their industry would collapse overnight...

Hi All, Two years ago I invited CABOT to take me to court over a "debt" supposedly owed by me to "Vanqis". They decided not to. Now they are back on my case again with the same old nonsense. Am I right in thinking that my invitation to them in 2009, (I have a record of it), giv es them only a certain amount of time to act?

Hi and welcome to CAG

No! They can continue to chase whenever it suits them (up to the Statute Barred date)

If it isn't your debt at all then you have grounds for complaint.
