You can't win in court against people who tell the truth.

But you can lose to people who lie through their teeth...

Sadly, VJ, I’ve seen the opposite happen, and you know who I’m talking about...

Good morning vjohn

You have probably researched the following already, however, in case you have not - see:

Pre-Action Protocol for Defamation

Part 53 - Defamation Claims

Practice Direction 53

Kind regards

Indeed. I was nearly one of 'em!

I donated the other day but my post appears to have vanished. Good luck vjohn.

Thank you!

I did read those and thank you for pointing them out anyway.

Not long to go now... the 10th of Nov is getting closer and closer!

Anything you need to be researched VJ? I've got time on my hands...

No it's all in hand now. Witness statements and evidence all filed with the other parties and court. Just have to wait for the hearing to take place.

Thanks for your offer :)

good luck, something worrying is that your blog has gone down, is this part of the legal case at all? I did get the jist of it all from the ministry though.

On another note, I noticed some nutter trying to get free milk from some concrete cows near Milton Keynes, any clues?

Tried to pm you vjohn but box full.

You are probably aware but just in case not thought to let you know the MCG legal page is getting updated and you are quoted with comments on page re them. MCG poster does not seem to be following your discrete/sensible quiet till the case is sorted.

Again I hope you win and to be honest after reading plaintiffs case and the updates, I think plaintiff is OTT and hope sense prevails :)

I appreciate you will prob not comment till case resolved, best of luck.

"Satirist and Managing Director Chris McGrath and his wife and two children have lost their £300,000 house to Nationwide after failing to keep up with mortgage payments while tackling Amazon, Richard Dawkins & his charity and militant-atheist and fascist sympathiser, Vaughan Jones, in a costly libel case at the High Court in London. The family will be evicted and made homeless on 13 December 2011 while the case continues. "

Should the defendants not now be worried that the claimant will be unable to meet any costs which might at any stage be awarded in their favour? Surely it is a matter for the Courts concern when the Plaintiff has seemingly embarked upon litigation without the neccesary funding to conclude proceedings and pay up any costs/damages awarded if they lose?

As of 03/03/12 please do not under any circumstances wait for my further input or guidance on any current thread or defence of a court claim I might have been involved in on or through Cag.

Well still thinking of you VJ, I too am about to embark on a legal case but against a constabulary...the less said the better!

Who ever heard of someone getting a job at the Jobcentre? The unemployed are sent there as penance for their sins, not to help them find work!
