Hi Everyone

Just wanted some advice on the following situation i am in currently...

I have paid over 50% of my agreement which is hire purchase, i am self employed and in the last 12 months been in arrears but kept up payments currently i have just fallen into 2 months in arrears, although i can clear the arrears in the next couple of weeks i cannot meet the default date that has been issued, Alphera will not give me an extension as they say i keep falling behind.

They advised that the next step after 2nd October will be a repossession order - as my arrears will be cleared in 14 days - what options do i have with this going to court and the repossession order?

I would still like to carry on payments and keep the car as i use it for work and i can show i do have the income to meet payments my only problem has been clients do not pay me on time hence why i am late with payments.

The advisor who refused the extension said that as my account has been in arrears this is the reason to apply to the court for the order and the car would be sold at auction, with any remaining balance uncleared due from me.

Thanks for your help....

Jay
