DCA's view debtors as suckers, marks and mugs

if you are BT or a derivitive of [ie you are not a cable phone subcriber]

then you will get these calls

esp the ones from outside the UK.

as sadly, they all automatically fwd your details out, regardless to it being ex directory

[i have proof and a copy of a database that shows this][they do this everytime you take out a new contract or change a setting]

if i do get any

i just fire off a complaint email with all the details to TPS

they write back saying its not their problem

but funny how they stop

  • 1 month later...

I recently became subject to such spam/[problem] calls, too. It is very annoying. It is great to see people exchanging knowledge on that matter. Have you visited tellows.co.uk? A lot of people share their knowledge on telephone fraud there. I recommend you take a look. It might be worth your time.

As far as TPS is concerned. I've been with them for years and never added my contact to the directory. It didn't help much to prevent those fools from calling me. If you know how to put and end to these rather rude intrusion, please, let me know.

Regards

Gregor
