I've read a lot of the things on here before joining but i don't know what to do anymore, i can't cope.

 

I have 6 pay day loans along with a catalagoue account and a credit card. the loans just got out of control.

 

i earn about £150 a week and i just can't do it anymore. the loans all went bad and i've tried to get them to accept things from me but they won't. had to keep rolling two of them over again this month because i'm so scared.

 

thing is, i had to borrow £140 from my mom to pay them this week and she wants it back tomorrow. i don't have anything. not a penny.

 

haven't been able to buy food in a while and my internet is due to go off any day.

 

i just feel like i can''t do it anymore. i can't cope.

who are the payday loan companies?, how much do you owe them and have you tried to negotiate repayment? X

Have you been mis-sold PPI or do you have penalty charges on any of your accounts? that you could claimback with interest.

 

Have a read of 1,2,3, 7 and 8 in my signature.

i don't know about ppi or how i know if i have it. i have protection on my catalogue that i pay for but i didnt ask for it?

 

i sent emails to all the companys but they're asking for a lot more than i can pay. i literally can't affod to live at the moment. sent emails i'd seen on here to ask for plans.

I would suggest you get down to your local CAB as soon as you can, or phone them, and ask them for help and debt advice. At first glance i'd say you'd be referred to one of their specialist debt advisors after a genealist advisor has worked through your Income/Expenditure and debts owed. to speed things up it helps them if you can take any and all financial information you have (bank statements, benefit letters, debt letters, loan/CCD agreements, bills, everything!!!) It's one of the things CAB is there for and they will be happy to help you I'm sure.

Ok Lostandalone,

First things first. Being in debt is not a criminal offence, its a civil offence which means no one is going to put you in prison. Secondly you need to do a priority list. This list must be paid first,... it includes, rent, council tax, food and utlities. Anything left over? then you can spread around your creditors.

I have been in your position only a lot lot worse and you need to harden up. I dont mean that in nasty way, but you need to adopt a me first attitude. Everyone it will seem wil want their money and their pound of flesh, but honestly if you havent got it, you havent got it. End of story. Tell them that as well. Put yourself, your health and family first.

Few rules to remember that will give you a bit of sainity. No phone calls to any of the Payday Co or their muppet DCAs. You sound vunerable and being pressurised is that last thing you need. Everything in writing, be it a email or letter.

Secondly if you can only afford to pay them a £1 a month, then thats what they will get. End of story. No judge on earth would ever make you pay more than you can afford, please remember this.

Thirdly. You will because they are nasty pieces of work, they will threaten you will court, bailiffs, door to door callers. It will not happen. Payday Co rarely take people to court and a bailiff can only call if it has been to court and you have defaulted on a CCJ. Yes, of course there have been instances when it happens, but they are rare.

Get your sainity back, be a little more in their faces. You can cope trust me you can. For now offer them a £1 a month, get your life back on track, and sort things out with your mum..........mums come first.
