Thanks for your replies... I'd been wondering for quite a while. Do you think there's any real benefit/protection gained by asking a solicitor to hold the deeds for you these days then, or not? My Mum used to keep hers under the chair in the bedroom.... We didn't know this until years later though..... lol

I answered your questions and replied to your comments. You are entitled to your opinion. I simply tried to help..............i would hope that people can see for themselves that this was only ever the case.

 

You did indeed answer the questions, which confirmed my initial thought that you are not in fact a lawyer.

I'd doubt it if it's going to cost a few bob, here's what you'd pay for copies in England & Wales........
