Hi

My last employer didn't return my CRB disclosure form and I'll probably need a CRB check for my next job. Is this going to be a problem ? Not sure if I need to show them my most recent CRB or not ?

Hi,

My sister has had svereal jobs requiring CRB checks and at each one she has had to have a new CRB done before she could start work. Not a problem except that some employers wanted her to pay for her own.

Like an MOT Certificate means little about the vehicle's condition after it has been issued, a CRB is valid only at the time that it is sent out. A new one is a prerequisite for most jobs which require a CRB and as posted above, many employers require you to pay for it!

Any advice given is done so on the assumption that recipients will also take professional advice where appropriate.
