Hi everyone, This is most interesting as I had a not too disimilar incident.

I was involved in a no-fault accident as well, paid the excess to have my car repaired as the "Crime Warden" who took details of accident said that the third party had accepted it was her fault. Her insurer, disagreed and contested the claim. My insurer (Hastings Direct) is refusing to pay back my excess and not even trying to obtain the information from the Crime Wardens. I have been chasing them and complained of the poor service, all they did was write back and asked me to contact them if I was unhappy. Liverpool City Council will not give me the Crime Warden report due to Data Protection but informed me that my insurers can request them. I wrote to Hastings and informed them but to date nothing has been done. I received a letter from Hastings to say that LCC says they do not have any CCTV pictures of that incident! Any suggestions/ advice anyone?
