Application for future action IE Summary Judgment are not dismissed by a Consent Order but should be withdrawn by the claimant. The claimant can withdraw the application and let the claim remain stayed. Tricky wording in that point 1 alarm bells ring. Andy

Yes, just now, and it’s still Morgan Stanley Bank International Ltd. So they packed up and left the market, without selling it on. Seems odd, unless I’m mistaken.

If the claim was defended and stayed there is no CCJ....therefore the debt is now statute barred.

I think i was very lucky that i was able to physically see for myself that nothing had been done. I'd suggest that if you haven't had to pay anything yet other than transport, you may find yours in in a similar situation. Do you know where it was taken to? There were certainly no vans where mine was, only a Corsa and an Audi. I did consider just asking for it back, but couldn't be sure he'd be agreeable. Maybe his scam is we report stolen, no-one bothers looking, insurance pays out and he gets vehicles to break and sell parts from? That's all i can think at the moment. So I arranged my own transport.
