Any Doctors or Nurses out there ?

I suffer terribly with hay fever ( arh poor thing ) i hear you say. All the usual symptoms, but i have a really strange noise going on in my left ear. Its most prominent when i lay down, and can only be described as the noise you get when your tummy rumbles with hunger. Its really weird.

 

Could it just be a case of needing my ear syringed.?

 

P.S. I only went and posted this in the bailff forum. Thicko or what. They can come and levy anytime.

Hayfever take 2 teaspoon of LOCALLY produced honey each day, you can bung it in your tea, got to be local, ears may need syringe but if mine need doing I use clean olive oil and put a bit in just warmed but not hot. Keep head on side for a few mins and repeat till cleared then do the other ear, nurse said it was better than syringe when I last went, noise could be caused by ear blockage but if it persists then seek advice from a pro as I am not, Its just what I do. But the honey works!

I thought tinnitus was just a ringing noise, which i have had on many occasions, but nothing to worry about, and nothing like this. This is so different from anything i have ever had before. I am getting a lot of dizzy spells as well, so i think i might get the vet to check me out.

Well get to a doctor soon then if you are having dizzy spells, we all hate going but they are signs for a reason, low blood pressure I think can be as bad as high but they will tell you.

I am another hayfever bod and its setting my asthma off badly. Ive already described the scene of walking round with bath towell as a hanky out of desperation and going through and entire pack of loo rolls:!:

 

Point is I am going to give the honey a go as has been suggested. I just need to find some xx

 

I know there is a farm shop so will ask kids if they could go there and find some. Got to try something.

Personally, I just put it in my left ear and let it trickle thrugh to the righ!

You can get olive oil from the chemist, I wouldn't use your ordinary cooking olive oil. My sis has had lots of problems her entire life with her ears, she's had countless surgery but still has problems. Warm olive oil has been a godsend to her over the years, but she was always advised to get it from a chemist. Going dizzy etc can be a sign of other things so best to get checked out just in case, could be blood pressure, blood sugar, even lack of iron. Orf to the vet with you, hope you get better soon x

I had a friend who had a similar problem. When she finally got it checked out, it turned out to be creepy crawlies alive in her ear.

Hi Dodgy,

 

Sounds in your ear/s could be where there is a build up of wax or shifting of wax with lots of nose blowing!

As above olive oil drops especially overnight should relieve the pressure and the sounds you can hear.

 

Dizzy spells could be something further in the ear throwing you off balance.

If it's not relieved with the olive oil drops after at least a few days go and get an MOT at the Dr's.

I managed to take an anti histamine and some local honey up north and lie in the long dry grass on a sunny day and could smell that nasty grass smell and not

one dribble of snot!
